In close cooperation between KMK Reg services and their reseller MSDSpro, both worked closely together to inform clients and prospects of the upcoming GHS business requirements needed to remain in compliance. The webinar included a PPT, open question period with Dr. Luc Seguin and introduction to GHS SMARt.

KMK Regulatory Services succeeds Kemika XXI
April 1st, 2009 - Following Atrion’s restructuration of its regulatory authoring activities effective April 1st, 2009 KMK Regulatory Services Inc. was recreated.
The team from Kemika XXI, previously acquired by Atrion, has made the transition to KMK, as confirmed by Dr. Luc Seguin, Ph. D. (Chemist), KMK’s President and CEO.
Dr. Seguin has also confirmed that contracts and obligations held by customers of Kemika XXI will be honoured by KMK Regulatory Services.
KMK will perform these services with the same level of quality and commitment, using Atrion’s Intelligent Authoring application.
KMK Regulatory Services inc. provides regulatory compliance services to the chemical and manufacturing industries worldwide, including MSDS authoring in 40 languages, GHS conversion, MSDS management as well as consulting/training services on chemical regulations in the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle-East.

Over 60 Attend Dr. Luc Seguin's ADICQ seminar on REACH-GHS
Invited speaker at the Quebec Chemical Industry Development Association (ADICQ - www.adicq.qc.ca ) the President and CEO of KMK Regulatory Services, Dr Luc Seguin, Ph. D., Chemist provided an overview of the current situation of REACH registration and the adoption of the GHS in Europe and other countries in 2009. Speaking to an audience of chemical executives and professionals, he discussed the situation from a chemical manufacturer point of view, exporting in Europe and adopting a global vision about the worldwide GHS emergence. His seminar also introduced KMK's GHS Pre-Implementation Program, allowing companies to BE READY NOW while spreading the cost of this huge and fundamental change of doing business, the key of success in the difficult economical time we are now facing.
